2.2. Creating a user account

  • Data collected: first name, last name, email address, password (encrypted), order history.
  • Purpose of processing: making future orders easier to place and managing your order history.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract (providing the platform’s services).

2.3. Product reviews.

  • Data collected: the display name, email address, review content, IP address.
  • Purpose of processing: publishing product reviews, moderating content and preventing spam.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the controller’s legitimate interest in managing user-generated content and maintaining a safe online environment.

2.4. Data for card payment processing

  • Data collected: first name, last name, email address, card details (transmitted directly and securely to the payment processor), IP address and transaction details. We do not store your full card details.
  • Purpose of processing: validating and processing online payments and preventing fraud.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of the contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in ensuring secure transactions).

2.5. Data shared with partner flower shops

  • Data collected: the contact and delivery details required to fulfill the order (name, phone number, address, personalized messages).
  • Purpose of processing: the creation and delivery of the bouquet or floral arrangement by the partner flower shop.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of the contract of sale.

3. Our Cookie Policy: Simple and Transparent

We have completely removed analytics, marketing, advertising and third-party cookies. We do not track your activity across the internet and we do not share data with advertising networks.

The only cookies we use are the strictly functional (essential) ones, absolutely necessary for the website to work properly. They enable actions such as:

  • Adding products to the shopping cart.
  • Keeping you signed in to your customer account.
  • Remembering basic preferences (e.g. currency).

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Order and invoice data: we keep it in accordance with our legal accounting and tax obligations (as a rule, 5 years).
  • User account information: we store it for as long as the account remains active. You can edit or delete your account information at any time.
  • Reviews: are kept indefinitely in order to preserve the consistency of the reviews section.

We limit data sharing to the minimum necessary to fulfill your order.

  • Partner flower shops (Vendors): the data required for delivery (name, address, phone number, order details) is passed on to the partner flower shop that will prepare and deliver your order.
  • Payment processing services: if you pay online, your data is transmitted directly and securely to the payment processor in order to complete the transaction.
  • IT service providers (hosting): data is stored on secure servers. Our providers are bound by strict contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Public authorities: we may disclose data where required by law or by a court order.

6. Data Transfers Outside the EU/EEA

We do not transfer and do not allow the transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area. All our partners and providers operate within the EU/EEA.
